Uzungöl is a mountain lake in the Çaykara district, about 100 kilometres from central Trabzon, and one of the region's best-known tourist destinations. It suits those who want the coast, relative calm and a wider choice between a flat and a villa, with access to central Trabzon via the coastal road; the airport is a little further away than from Yomra.
